Fundraisers Annual Rummage/Bake Sale
Southeast Recycled
Fiber
The club set up with Southeast Recycled Fiber to recycle paper products. This is a very easy fundraiser for everyone to do. When you go to the recycling center you will see a ramp next to the building. Drive up the ramp and when you get to the windows, stop. Wait for someone to open the window, tell the person that you are with the Madison County Homeschool 4-H Club. They will wave you on and you will pull around back where someone will help you unload your paper. Then you will turn around, drive back over the ramp and STOP at the window again. Someone will give you a ticket with your poundage (we get two cents per pound) which you need to bring to the next 4-H meeting to help us keep track of what we have earned. Think of this as two service projects in one, we are keeping some trash out of the landfill and earning money to make a difference in the community at the same time!
If you are not sure where Southeast Fiber is, click the link below
and then at the website click on the tab that is title Directions.
Gusta Java
Coffee
We also have an ongoing fundraiser for our club with Gusta Java Coffee. If you know anyone who is a coffee connoisseur you will want to make this available to them. This is gourmet quality coffee, locally roasted and processed. When you or someone you know is ready to place an order, simply go to http://www.gustajava.com/. As you put things in your cart, the price will appear to be $12 per pound. However, once the customer enters our club code the price will drop to $10.02 per pound. For every pound of coffee sold through our club's account, our club will be paid $4.00. The club code is mc4h. Orders must be received by Gusta Java by the end of the business day on the first or third Monday of the month. Our Club Leader will pick up the coffee orders on the morning of the meeting. Please note that in December we only have a meeting on the first Friday of the month, so there is only one opportunity to place an order. You will receive your coffee (and any coffee for your friends or relatives) at the 4-H meeting. |
